Tom Barnett, our CEO, has announced his retirement effective on September 1, 2009. Tom was the first day to day operations executive of the company formed by Fort Wayne entrepreneur Jerry Henry, Jr. in 1996.
Under Tom’s guidance and management, Paragon Steel now has two plants in Butler totaling 240,000 s/f with three slitters and a cut-to-length line. The administrative offices moved to Butler in 2008
Dave Stouder, COO, has been announced as Tom’s replacement by our President, Jerry F. Henry Jr. Dave, a native of Fort Wayne, brings an enormous amount of Steel and management experience to Paragon Steel, as a regional manager for two large multiple location steel service centers. He joined Jerry’s Midwest Pipe and Steel in 2005 .
We wish Tom and his family continued success in his retirement as well as Dave’s continued success as Paragon Steel continues to move forward.
